Circus runs away from town

I see the Big Top has now left Churches Green. I wager that it has left a large circle of dead grass.

Big Top goes up in Crowborough

I've been watching the clowns put up the Big Top for Crowborough's play, "The Passion".

I would love to go and watch residents of the town breaking legs, but the theme "A Summer Celebration of the life of Jesus for the 21st Century" really does nothing for me - I am not a religious man.

Security is obviously at the forefront of the organisers' minds. I see there is a caravan on site, a flimsy fence and even CCTV! I must find out who is paying for all this and write a letter to my local newspaper...
